ONE adds Rio de Janeiro to SX2

ONE (Ocean Network Express) has updated its East Coast South America Express 2 service, known as SX2, to add a call at Rio de Janeiro. The revised service connects Pusan, Shanghai, Shekou and Singapore with Rio de Janeiro, Santos and Itapoá before returning to Asia through Singapore, Cai Mep and Haiphong.

The service is operated by ONE. Chrislion Logistics can quote and book cargo on the route, check the current sailing cut-off and coordinate the shipment from origin to final delivery.

Why the Rio de Janeiro call matters

Adding Rio de Janeiro gives shippers another direct port pair on the Asia–Brazil east coast lane. Instead of planning only around Santos or Itapoá, cargo can be quoted to Rio or connected through Rio to Argentina on ONE's RPX feeder.

  • Direct Asia–Rio coverage. SX2 publishes westbound service from Pusan, Shanghai, Shekou and Singapore to Rio.
  • Three Brazil calls. Rio de Janeiro, Santos and Itapoá give different port options for importers and exporters along Brazil's east coast.
  • Argentina connection. The RPX feeder links Rio de Janeiro with major destinations in Argentina.
  • Two-way planning. The eastbound leg connects Santos, Itapoá and Rio with Singapore, Cai Mep and Haiphong.

What Chrislion handles for you

We quote the SX2 option against your cargo details, ready date and delivery window. We can also compare another ocean service, LCL consolidation or air freight when the route or timing fits better.

For a confirmed booking, Chrislion coordinates the load port, export documents, customs steps and destination delivery. If your cargo is destined for Santos, Itapoá, Rio or Argentina, we verify the correct port pair and connecting service before the shipment leaves the warehouse.
